Final Fantasy VII Remake Integrade Coming For The PS5 This Summer

I know I’m a little late to the party but I still want to celebrate this. Sony had a State of Play 26th of February, about a week ago in that show they announced with SquareEnix that the Final Fantasy VII Remake will release on the PS5 with enhancing graphics, all new photo mode, and an expansion starring a legendary FF7 character Yuffie.

The game will also feature high-performance mode enabling the 60 fps frame-rate mode or if you prefer the fidelity at 30 fps you can choose to play that way. More options is always better. I personally wish we could turn off some post-process features like Motion Blur and Depth of Field.

So, it seems PlayStation will have another round with FF7 Remake before it escapes outside of the PlayStation platform. This is how it feels to be treated as first-class citizens.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Integrade for the PS5 is set to release on June 10th, 2021.

The upgrade path and pre-order details

Integrade will be a free upgrade for the people who already own the FF7 Remake either digitally or physically. With a physical copy, you obviously will need that disc after the upgrade. Unfortunately, this month’s PS Plus copy won’t grant you the PS5 upgrade.

Pre-order bonuses quoted from the PlayStation Blog:

The pre-order bonus for the digital version of the game features Yuffie’s weapon “Cacstar,” which can be used in her new episode. A Digital Deluxe Edition of the game will also be available, which will include a digital artbook and a digital mini soundtrack. Full details at PlayStation Store.

It’s still a little bit unclear if the Yuffie’s episode is only available on PS5 or not. Most people are in understanding that’s the case but I don’t if Sony or SquareEnix has confirmed this? Little bit scummy move towards the PS4 players if that’s the case.
